I bought this for a black tie dinner dance. It's very comfortable and flattering. The sleeves are a nice touch and you can actually wear a regular bra with it as long as it is the right style. I am 5' 10" and the length was perfect for me. It would have to be professionally shortened because of the type of fabric and lining.

I love this dress! The fit is perfect- I am 5'6" 150lbs, 36-30-40 and the dress fits like a glove. It flares out at the right spot to hide problem areas and hits right at the knee, so it is office appropriate. It has a decent amount of stretch, so someone with measurements 2" bigger than mine would also fit into a medium. I would say if your measurements are 3" above mine, to go with the large.
