It's nice. I like the length. I'm 5'9" and it hits at my knee. I'm about 150 lbs and pear shaped. I bought the size 8 and I wish it fit tighter around the waist, but it still looks cute.

My body type: straight (not a curve in sight); 34C bra; 30-31" waist; 35" hips; 135 lbs; just under 5'7"; flat butt; poochy belly. The size small fit very well on top, but the bottom accented my poochy belly more than I'd like (I have loose skin around my midriff after having kids). I probably could have gotten away with it if I'd worn Spanx, but the medium might work better (I'll update this when I find out).This is a mermaid-style dress, so be sure you have the right body type for it. That being said, it's a more forgiving mermaid-style than most because it has two layers. And the top layer is lace (rather than smooth).The dress is slightly longer in back. When I wore a small heel, the dress trailed slightly on the ground in back. My toes peeped out a little in front. Very pretty.I didn't expect this dress to be so nice and comfortable. The lace is very soft and has some give to it, and the color is a rich NAVY--not cobalt blue. It's surprisingly heavy when you take it out of the package, but it definitely doesn't feel heavy on.I love the "peephole" in back--but you'll need to wear a strapless bra that rides low. I had to be careful that my bra wasn't showing in back.
